What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a form of hands-on manual therapy that examines and treats the body as a whole. A wide range of treatment techniques can be used in Osteopathy that are tailored to your preferences and what your body needs.
Your appointment will begin with history-taking questions followed by movement screens/tests. This is all to get to know you better, gain valuable information that can help with diagnosis and inform the management plan.
Hands on treatment is often combined with other modalities during management. This can include exercise prescription and ergonomic advice to support the body's ability to repair and recover independently.
